A chat with Sue Mengers

starring Susannah Melone as Sue Mengers

Dear Friends and Audients**,
In the 70s, one woman was everything in Hollywood. She saw a talented young nobody perform in a club and made her Barbara Streisand. She got Gene Hackman the part of Popeye Doyle in The French Connection. She talked the infamous Robert Evans into casting Faye Dunaway in Chinatown.
She represented Candice Bergen, Mike Nichols, Michael Caine, George Segal, Bob Fosse, Sidney Lumet, Burt Reynolds, Cybill Shepherd, Ryan O'Neal, Rod Steiger, Peter Bogdanovich, Gore Vidal, and many more. In an industry dominated by men, she was Hollywood's first superagent -- and she knew everybody's secrets.
That was then. Now, it's 1981, and there are signs her empire is beginning to crumble. She's throwing one of her famous parties, and you're invited
On Saturday, November 16 at 7:30pm, come dish tinseltown with Sue Mengers in I'LL EAT YOU LAST, a play by three-time academy-award nominated screenwriter John Logan.
