The Non-Violent Communication small group ministry welcomes men and women members and friends of the congregation for our second meeting. We meet the third Sunday of each month in the Pickett room in the Farmhouse. The group is led by Davida Luminabes, a facilitator with experience in Marshall Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication. Non-violent Communication helps us to identify and name our own feelings, values, needs and yearnings and it shows us how to help others in the group and in our lives to name their feelings, needs, values and yearnings. As a result, our honest heartfelt communication opens, and negative judgement and criticism are eliminated. People enjoy greater clarity, choice, freedom, direction and connection in their lives.
