Solstice Community Solar fundraiser/Clean Energy

  • 320 Sawkill Road Kingston, NY, 12401 United States (map)

Come learn about different clean electricity options and ways to save money on your electric bill from our guest speaker. Hear from our members about their experience with Solstice Community Solar. Bring a copy of your electricity bill, and we can help you sign up for community solar which will help save the planet, support our congregation, and save money on your electric bill each month.

Are you getting calls or emails telling you to sign up for this or that electricity program because it will save you money or be more environmentally friendly? This short talk with nonprofit New Yorkers for Clean Power's home energy coach Tom Konrad will explain the difference between choosing an alternative electricity provider (ESCo), signing up for community solar, and Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), and how to choose, as well as lesser-known options like Time of Use pricing and the new ChargeSmart program which might help you save more. It will be followed by a Q&A session.

If you are unable to attend, but still have burning energy questions, you can sign up for a free coaching session here: https://nyforcleanpower.org/cleanenergycoaching/.
